• What is Mess Patch?
  Mess Patch is a tweak tool for Windows Live Messenger that allows you to customize the look and feel of Messenger as well as remove bloat, add new buttons, and push certain limits. To learn more about what Mess Patch can do for your, head over to the Features page.
• Is it safe to use Mess Patch?
  Yes. Rest assured Mess Patch is free from all types of bundled spyware, adware, or any other crapware. It is perfectly safe and will not harm your computer in any way.
• How can I uninstall Mess Patch?
  In case you wish to restore Messenger to its pre-patched state, you can start Mess Patch and select the "Restore previous settings" option. This will return Messenger to the exact state it was before using Mess Patch. Should anything go wrong, you can always re-install/repair Messenger.
• How do I know what version to select?
  You should select the version that matches the version of Windows Live Messenger installed on your system, which you can find out by selecting Help in the menubar and then choosing About Messenger.

• What is polygamy?
  Polygamy is the ability to run several instances of Messenger simultaneously, which allows you sign into multiple accounts.
• Why aren't the advertisements being removed?
  If you have chosen to remove advertisements then you'll be prompted with a license agreement page. Agreeing to this license will not remove the ads. You'll need to disagree in order to continue with removing the ads.
  
  You are strongly encouraged to thoroughly read the mentioned license since the ads you choose to remove generate the revenue needed to pay the salaries of those who bring you Messenger as well as sponsor charities.
  
  Additionally, removing the ads infringes the End User License Agreement (EULA) to which you agreed to upon installing Messenger. Therefore, removing the ads is your own rational decision to which you are held completely responsible for. We do not encourage you to remove Messenger's ads, but we provide these options to prevent you from resorting to other methods that may harm your system.
• What is TabServe and how do I use it?
  TabServe is a service provided by Fanatic Live which allows you to edit Messenger's configuration file. That includes customized tabs, an alternate MSN Today page, and several other settings. Visit the TabServe web page for more information.
• Where can I see a preview of what each feature does?
  Clicking the "Learn More" button will lead you to Mess Patch's Online Help which shows extended descriptions as well as before/after screenshots for each feature.
